Probably best priced spot for delicious and fresh poke by the pound. Lots of different flavors. More than half the price of other spots and I could mix up to 5 flavors. Bought all our gifts and roasted coconut chips to take back for our family. Only thing was I had to sign up for a Foodland card to get all the sale/discounted prices (3-4 mins. )

Get the poke! Maui is prohibitively expensive and the restaurants and food trucks are super expensive. We had just as good quality poke from Foodland. We stayed at a nearby Airbnb apartment, which luckily had a rice cooker. So we would buy poke from Foodland, make our own rice, and bought a bag of furikake wonton crisps from Foodland also. It was excellent. I definitely preferred all of the local ahi tuna poke flavors, and the spicy ahi tuna in particular was * chefs kiss *. I leaned towards the shoyu ahi tuna when eating it on top of the furikake wonton crisps.

A good place to grab some lunch and possibly dinner if you want to be frugal on your visit to Maui. Save your money and get the poke here... There are a lot of selections and you can also opt for a poke bowl over brown or white rice. We opted to eat all the poke at lunch so we don't have to bring it back to the hotel. We also got some salt and vinegar chicken wings and some chicken thighs to eat later. A good tip is to make sure that you join Foodland's loyalty program for additional savings. I joined the rewards program in Kona and the system already hasld my number so I got a $9 savings for my purchase

Absolutely love the vibes in this grocery store. You can get everything you need food wise here! I love that there were so many Hawaii specific items. The poke stand is in the back corner of the store and had several options. The flavors and quality were outstanding considering it's from a store. I loved the spicy ahi. It's in my top 5 poke places in Maui. The wasabi ahi was okay but not as balanced as I would like. They also have a hot bar where their spam masubi and mac salad were fire!! You can get chocolate chip cookie ice creams made in hawaii here. You won't regret it!

Felt like a pretty typical small town grocery store. Prices are high, but that's to be expected in Hawaii. That said, the poke counter is excellent - wide selection, high quality, great prices, and super tasty. I'd stop by here again just for that. Yum!

Best bang for the buck meal while on Maui. Brown rice & fresh ahi w/wasabi. Yummm. Tuna very soft, pink and lots of flavor. People working behind the counter were super friendly too.

Perfect place to find some cheap eats. I come here all the time for the poke and their vinegar flavored chicken wings.

We LOVE Foodland. I try my best to spend $$ at local joints whenever I can. Foodland makes it easy because they always have something that piques my interest. We literally shopped about every other day for poke (spicy Hawaiian is my absolute favorite). PS the poke counter is at the far right back corner after you pass through the produce section. Think the other reviewer was looking in the prepared food section on the other side of the market.

Stopped in, because it's just what you do when you're in Hawaii. What I am really referring to or reviewing here is the poke. First time and I am SOLD. As you can see by the photos, we got the 1/2 lb container and 1 scoop of rice. It's was perfect for two of us who were not overly starving. So happy I finally tried this poke. I think it's ruined me for looking elsewhere or even back home. Side note: kombucha was about 2.50 more than what I typically pay back home. Coming in at over 7 bucks.
